Fabienne oversees Cenovus’s workforce planning, talent acquisition and programs, with a focus on diversity and inclusion and campus strategies. Fabienne joined Cenovus Energy in 2017 as the Senior Specialist for the company’s Early Career and Campus Relations function which has evolved to include talent planning, reporting and analytics. Fabienne’ s passion for campus began at ConocoPhillips where she led the development and implementation of a new recruitment campaign, called Work With Phil, which went on to earn accolades both by her company and externally. From there, she worked as the business partner for ConocoPhillips Canada’s Corporate Services group and then moved on to lead the company’s overall recruitment and staffing efforts. She also served as the human resources business partner for the Global Operations team in the corporate head office in Houston, Texas. Fabienne earned a diploma in Business Administration from Mount Royal University in 2001, and a bachelor’s degree in Management, Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the University of Lethbridge in 2008. In addition to her expertise in strategic recruitment, Fabienne is skilled in the areas of employee benefit plans, salary administration, training and development, workforce planning, coaching and counselling.
